The Sibir 10 cu ft Cabin Refrigerator model # S2721/2W1 was one of the best
cabin gas refrigerators ever made. Unfortunately the Dometic Corporation who
owns Sibir USA stopped making them in America. There is an estimated 25,000 units still in use in the USA today.
There is one small problem with this refrigerator
however and that is the
boiler.
The boiler runs far too hot and burns the chemicals in the system, which
in turn blocks up the boiler. There are several companies repairing this refrigerator,
however they all retain the same boiler design with the same problem.
Within a few years the boiler will block again and you will have to pay to
have the work done once more.
We had a long look
at the problem and decided to design and build our own boiler that
would work at lower temperatures. Of the over 300 units
we have repaired NOT ONE has failed. See photos below for design
